First of all no matter who you hire attorneys will only care about themselves they will tell you only what you want to hear you know the old saying the bloodsucking attorney.so you just have to pick lesser of the two evils. My experience with peter and his office started out well but than I started doing a lot of the foot work and dealing with bad doctors, than this office started making big mistakes I was actually cut off workers comp because they only pay for 104 weeks so I got on disibilty when the 3rd party attorney took it upon himself to cancel my disibilty without a notice or letter or even notifying my attorney. I came to Peter's office to discuss this and everyone there told could and wouldn't ever happen so I insisted that they call them and turns out that they did go over our heads to do so and was getting shorted my disibilty because the other attorney said I was getting permanent disibilty which I was wasn't and I never got back pay for that like they promised. At the end I had to settle the job I had was too physically demanding for my back the settlement I received was nothing compared to what I was making not even a years salary, but they made it seem like it was a big deal and it was far from that trying to encourage me that he had all kinds of jobs and was skilled in various areas that I would be fine like I was suppose to be impressed with his accomplishments. After I signed my career away I spoke to his assistant maira I still had to get surgery on my thumb and I had mentioned this to her she told to pay for it out of my settlement or when or if get another job just tell them you hurt your thumb so they will pay for your surgery, I shook my head in disbelief and disgust on how shady these attorneys are the whole experience was very stressful I loss weight I lossed sleep and I almost lossed my marriage and lossed a great career with ups after 17 years of service just a few years from my pension. If I had to do it again I would not. So I hope this helps anyone out there with a similar injury and questions about getting litigated. Don't try to work something with your employer believe it or not there are a lot of people who are not out to sue and get money but unfortunately this is the route we had to take.
