The front desk staff is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. If I could give a lower rating for the staff I would. I was explaining that my birth control is for my endometriosis and I cannot run out and the lady would not stop talking over me. When I asked to speak to someone else she simply hung up the phone in my face. They do not warn you when you are out of refills and when you need to come in. Instead of calling me to let me know that I need to come in for a well woman’s exam in order to get my medication they just waited until I needed the medication again to say they would no longer fill it. I am an out of state graduate student and I fly in and drive an hour one way to see Dr. Hollis. I have also had pharmacies call me to tell me that the staff is rude to them when they are trying to refill my prescriptions. I requested for my medical records to be faxed to my university, and they never did. They take their sweet time doing anything that you ask them to do. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional staff in my life. Pick another office if you can because I definitely will from here on out. Dr Hollis is good but her staff is the reason why I will be finding another OBGYN!
Dr. Hollis probably saved my life. While the scheduling and front staff can be challenging at times, they are very busy and often have new employees. Dr. Hollis is very knowledgeable!! She is very thorough! She ended up finding my cancer when other professionals were unable to determine what was going on, as well as my Chronic fatigue syndrome and pointed me in the right direction to start to find help and deal with this. These were going on for 2 years! 2 years of going to doctor trying to find out what was wrong with me, until sitting with Dr. Hollis! Don’t let the bad reviews or challenges with new front staff deter you from the best care! Dr Hollis hands down has been a life saver for me! Her knowledge and patient care is beyond excellent!
Doctor Hollis and her staff provided excellent care for my during hysterectomy my recovery was pain free and every visit they have been very pleasant to be around providing a lot of information for my surgery and tests and exams
Dr. Hollis is by far the WORST doctor I have ever dealt with. My daughter has had the worst care while under her guidance. This is her 2nd high risk pregnancy. She advise Dr. Hollis that she wanted her tubes tied after delivery and the doctor all but has refused stating that she can make that decision after she gives birth. She has left my daughter waiting for long periods of time in the patient room, her bed side manor is horrific. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, even told my daughter, you are just emotional, let's just get through this....Absolutely not! Even if you have lost your job due to Covid and are left with Medicaid as your insurance provider, DO YOUR RESEARCH! Do not settle for this doctor. She is horrible! Further more, when my daughter asked for her medical records because she was changing doctors in her 9 month of pregnancy, her office wanted to charge for her for that. Again, do your research! Do not settle for this doctor. Having a baby, no matter what your circumstance might be, should be one of the most precious memory/experience one can have! Do not let this horrible mannered doctor rob you of that!
