Obviously being sued isn't convenient for anyone, but I'm rating based off of their communications and professionalism. Devon handled my initial case and was very informative and accommodating to my situation. I was mostly glad that we were able to work out a payment plan that prevented me from having to deal with this through the court. The following month when it came time to pay, my partner had just started a new job and hadn't gotten paid yet and I am unemployed. I called and the first call oddly disconnected, but when I called a second time I got another representative who was willing to work with me. I did have to make a good faith payment, as I expected, but the rest I was given an extension on. I do wish that it was easier to access any kind of receipts, which is why I am not rating them 5 stars, but so far I haven't had any particularly hostile or unpleasant experiences. My advice: Be honest, be communicative, and make sure you come to the table willing to find solutions.
I wish there was a less than zero star option! This place hires nothing but low class, unintelligent, bottom feeding, mouth breathing midcreants! These people are the worst of the worst. They have no respect for anyone at all! They do not even have the common decency to treat people with dignity on a basic human level. There are never circumstances that would condone their attitude towards me. I paid my debt in August, and I called today because it is still on my credit. I was not rude and just wanted answers. Roseanne told me my payment was "rejected for nonsufficient funds" by my bank! FALSE! The money came out of my account, which I confirmed with my bank! Attempting to collect a debt that is already settled is extortion! One would think a "law firm" would know this is highly illegal! My bank and my own attorney are going to have a blast with this one! Anyway, Roseanne was rude, condescending, and just a vile excuse for a person! She doesn't deserve to consume the same oxygen needed for the rest of us! Her day is coming... karma comes for everyone, eventually! She can sit on her throne and judge others, but all it takes is one unfortunate life event for someone's circumstances to change. NO ONE is exempt from this fact of life! I am so very thankful for my circumstances improved, and I was able to pay my debt, not everyone is afforded that opportunity. I will end by saying that a little compassion goes a long way!
There should be an option for zero stars. I have tried on numerous occasions to work with this company, when I had some money to work with. But now at present my company completely went out of business, my mother died and I had to pay her expenses and I was severely hurt in an accident which I had to pay out of pocket. They don't want to hear it, just want to set me up with a payment schedule. With what money, I have no regular income!!!! I spoke with three separate people and I always have to retell every aspect of what happened. Now, they went ahead and filed in court. Outrageous
They will make you jump through hoops to try to get a late payment out of you. I wanted to pay online and the site suddenly didn’t work, so I call and I’m not allowed to make a payment without my lawyer (who no longer represents me) to okay it. So I have my old lawyer send something over saying I’m allowed to pay my own bill and suddenly they can’t take cards, apparently it’s against their policy. So I have to give them my bank info and then they said they don’t give receipts or let me know about the payment. They’re making it as hard as possible for me to pay so they can try to get me to default on my payment plan. They are all shady thieves.
Trying to get me to give them personal Information like my address and the last four of my SSN without even telling what they want or what it’s regarding. Who in their right mind would just give out that information to a stranger on the phone this is an edit to my previous review people make it nearly impossible to actually make a payment. They refuse to take a card. They want you to send a money order or pay with your routing number and your bank account number. And then they’ll proceed to process the payment until a week at least later when you’re expecting the money to already come out of your account. Then they call you after you went and paid your other bills expecting you to be able to dump the money they should’ve taken already if you can’t take a debit why bother calling me
