I would totally recomend this firm. My divorce was finalized in less than a year.

I live in Florida. I filed first (in Nov. 2017), but was served first, so the jurisdiction was in LA county. My original attorney in Florida hired an attorney from LA (NOT Reape Rickett)- the two of them were a disaster, so I fired them after their 3rd strike in 2.5 years (June 2020)! This is my story: "0 hour," Friday 5pm EST, pressured to sign, I was in my car parked in a lot crying my eyes out! Decorate for some good advice, I called an attorney friend in SFO who suggested I call 3 attorneys in LA. I called 6 (3 were mediators). Jim answered first, within an hour of my call. I paid $450 for him to look over my MSA from the previous (2) law firms, and he told me what I'd feared: there were holes, and had I signed, well, I'd have lost more than money (it'd taken its toll because of my mental health, if you catch my drift). Now I have Don who works hard to represent me. Whereas the first set of attorneys took 2.5 years to get to an agreeable MSA, so far it's taken a 1.5 years - mostly because of Covid, however, the progress has been undeniable. Don knows his stuff; he's patiently responsive to my needs, fears, and quirks, and gives detailed explanations. Don's been exceedingly patient with me during my emotional rollercoaster ride...it's been a lot more expensive than I'd planned. Within that first 3 years of stalling and errors by my first attorneys, the law changed in my favor, and Don's given me confidence and support - I feel that my "switching attorneys in mid stream" - to hiring Reape Rickett, was the best albeit, expensive, thing I did for myself. I'm not done, but a recent proposal has been made and I'm hoping it's agreeable by opposing. I'm anxious for the divorce lawsuit to be finalized. It's taken its emotional toll on my health and pocket book, but I've the utmost confidence in my Reape-Rickett team that it won't be much longer!... and I'll let y'all know how much longer with an update... Btw, I keep a detailed list of my time spent talking with my legal team. I'm quite verbose, as you can see and have lots of questions, always.
