I recently called the admissions office to gather information about application deadlines and class schedules, hoping to get a clear understanding of the process as I plan to attend law school here. Unfortunately, my experience with Ed, the person who answered my call, was quite disappointing. As I asked questions to clarify my understanding and ensure I was on the right track, I repeated one of my questions for verification. Ed responded in a sarcastic tone, saying "now you're catching on," followed by giggling. This made me feel belittled, especially as someone new to this process and trying my best to get informed. When I mentioned that I am military, it seemed that Ed had little respect, which was surprising and disheartening. I expected a professional and respectful conversation, and I hope this matter is addressed to prevent future occurrences. I am very disappointed by this encounter and hope that others seeking assistance receive better treatment.
I agree with the review by JD ESQ. (Their negative review disappeared, btw). Ranked 153 out of 196 law schools in 2024...bottom 22% and expensive. Save your money and go anywhere but here. 500 students on average and the library is tiny, there are only six or so quiet rooms to study in so they kick you out if you are studying alone. There have been no updates to this school in years, the parking is atrocious yet the parking fees went up exponentially while I was there, and you have a 50/50 shot of getting a really good professor or a really awful professor. Support outside the classroom is almost nonexistent; the disability and support services center may or may not exacerbate your anxiety even more with their terrible record keeping, small staff, and unwillingness to assist with important, time sensitive issues. I am not even including all the times I experienced various types of discrimination, bullying, and egregious behavior from faculty and staff (from law, undergrad and grad school), yet you are told not to file a complaint because you will "burn bridges". I don't have connections with awful people, so what bridges would I burn? They want to save face since they like to retain people who have shady pasts and make excuses for them rather than showing them the door. It's time people knew the truth. This entire place is a bust and they have the audacity to ask me for donations. I have done enough paying outrageous tuition that they did not deserve.
Sister Grace is the most wonderful person I know on this campus. She is outstanding in every way
