Jeff Lucas from Lawrence and Associates was probably the easiest going guy I could of asked to have work with me on my worker’s compensation case. He was always very straight to the point and always kind. Me being a procrastinator, I benefited from working with him and his team. They helped me anytime I had any questions and without making me feel I was putting too much on them and helped remind me when I would forget. A job well done guys. And thank you Stella and Sacha for all that you both did as well. I’m very grateful for you all. Thank you.
My attorney Jeff Lucas was wonderful. Truly like a friend and led me easily thru every stage. Communicated all the way..I appreciate him so much and the team for their dedication and compassion. I highly recommend the firm and Jeff Lucas. Thank you so much
I found it difficult or impossible to get a return call from my lawyer after signing a representation contract with the firm. Staffers would routinely answer the phone, take messages, and promise return calls, but the calls never came. Days went by and still no reply. When I did actually manage to get my lawyer on the phone, I felt he was rude and dismissive, and showed little concern for any communication, or my case at all. When I asked questions about my case, I was given incorrect or unhelpful advice telling me to seek other lawyers to cover the gaps in my representation. When I approached (several) other lawyers, they all assured me that this firm should be handling these matters in-house and should not be directing clients to recruit additional lawyers. When I again called L&A to ask about why every other lawyer is telling me this same thing, staffers again promised a prompt response from my lawyer, saying he would call me back that very same day. When no return call came through yet again, and then two more days went by still without a call, I contacted them again. Obviously annoyed by the situation, my lawyer finally bothered to respond and in doing so, decided to just break ties completely and drop both of my cases mid-process, leaving me to deal with the resulting issues on my own. I would have been much better off choosing a different attorney from the start, instead of losing almost 3 months with this firm. Dropping a client's cases when they ask questions and rightfully expect some form of a response is unacceptable. Wasting months of my time during a crisis is unacceptable. Creating additional hardships for an already injured worker is unacceptable. It is unprofessional and irresponsible to operate a law firm if you are not going to communicate with your clients. You can’t claim any high ground in acting this way. This was childish in response and in practice.
First lawyer I had believed in my case and the first offer she got from my company was 10k she said that wasn't enough at all and was ready to take them to court. For whatever reason she quit and I guess they gave her case load to another lawyer that just wanted to get rid of me. The first offer he got from my company was 2k he said I had no case and that I would lose and not get anything and basically railroaded me into settling for 10k in the end which I'm very disappointed with since my back is messed up for the rest of my life. I didn't trust him to take it to court because it sounded like he wouldn't even try because he said I had no case. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless your boss witnesses you when you get injured and I don't even know about then. I would give them 0 stars if I could
Amazing group of lawyers. Felt important every step of the way. Anytime I called always talked to someone about my case. Nathan was also amazing. Such a professional. Followed up on any info I submitted which helps things move along much smoother. Please Thank all of your associates on our behalf. You made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.
