Kim A Marjenhoff PA

Kim Marjenhoff is a phenomenal family law attorney. I have referred many of my clients seeking counsel to her as I know they will be in the best hands. I have even used her as an expert guest speaker when I’ve held my coaching groups. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, has many years of practice, and genuinely cares about her clients. As a woman business owner myself, it is so inspiring to see such an amazing role model in the community uplifting and serving others. I highly recommend her!

If I could give Kim less than 1 star I would. I am shocked she is able to retain and keep any clients what so ever. I decided to go with her because a friend of mine who worked with her many years ago, recommended her to me, stating she was fair with her pricing. I was completely mislead, and my friend is very sorry, but that does not change the fact that Kim, essentially stole $1500.00 from me, and not only did not help my situation with my ex and child, but made things worse for me. It would take her weeks to return calls even on very time sensitive matters, she would never return emails, and even her assistants would tell me when I called "I'm not sure why she hasn't reached out yet, I so sorry I will give her the message". After 7 weeks of not hearing from her what so ever, again in a time sensitive matter, I requested my retainer of $2000 be returned to me because she did not render any services to me as promised during our phone consultation. I then waited another 4 weeks for an invoice to be sent to me, and by goodness I am shocked! This women only spoke to me on the phone a handful of times, never a long conversation, and she charged me nearly $800 for phone calls, she then charged me a couple hundred dollars for emails she "reviewed" with me asking for a status update or return phone call in which she never replied, on top of all of that, she charged me $245 for our 20 minutes phone consult, and another $145 to write a 3 sentence email to my ex saying I retained her, and another $70 to click send. She is charging me for the $580 check she is writing me to return what is "remaining" from my retainer after she rendered her services. I am appalled, nothing was every sent to the court house, she barely spoke to me on the phone, when I did speak to her, she couldn't remember who I was, just outrageous. She basically stole $1500 from me, and I am writing this review in hopes someone else does not fall into her little scheme she has going on. Find an attorney who will do what they say, help you with your case, call you back, return your emails and do what an attorney is suppose yo do for a client who has retained them. Appaling. Also be advised she charges an outrageous $350/hr for phone conversations, in which she puts you on hold for, and he consultation is $350, regardless of over the phone or in person, whereas most attornies offer this free of charge in the area so finding the right attorney to retain is not impossible. Please beware of this attorney, she is not out to help you, she just wants your money!!!!

I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to hire her to handle my case, the outcome was very fair for everyone and the communication was always top notch, she has great support at her office specially Matt, he was absolutely awesome with follow up. I would highly recommend them!
