Mike Lins is the worst estate attorney in Hillsborough County. He prolonged what should have been a simple, uncontested ninety day probate and stretched out the process for two years. I was unable to sell my mother’s house for years while he dawdled and mishandled my case. He explicitly went against many of my orders and contacted parties with no claim to the estate to bill more hours. He and his wife were completely unprofessional and rude and made an extremely difficult process so much harder. I had to consult with another law firm to correct his malfeasance. I’m still dealing with the fallout of his monumental mistakes six years after the estate was closed. Fun note: He not only misspelled my first name on filed legal documents, he listed Deirdre as both “Deinco” and “Demptree.” I have no idea where he came up with those names but at least they made me laugh. He also misspelled my late mother’s name on official documents and charged me exorbitantly to correct his mistakes. He’s the epitome of an untrustworthy Florida lawyer.
