Hired Stephen for help with a tax matter. At first everything was going well, then when covid hit his contact became very sporadic and eventually he ceased responding or providing updates on our case. it's been 2 years trying to get an email or phone call returned from anyone in their office. While I know results aren't guaranteed, we haven't even been updated. Feels like this firm stole our money and then ghosted us. Cannot recommend this firm at all.

Steve Burroughs handled my taxes for 2019. He got them to waive the interest until I could pay it. Now, in 2022, I'm able to pay it but I can't get through to the office in any manner. Phone. No answer. Email. No answer. So I can no longer recommend this company.

My husband and I needed tax advice relating to the Georgia Department of Revenue. We googled tax lawyers and saw that Britt and Burroughs had very good reviews. We assumed that we would have to make an appointment and actually go to their office. But when my husband called, Mr Burroughs was kind enough to give him advice over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and professional and we appreciate that he spent over twenty minutes helping us with our problem. We would definitely call this firm again in the future. I am very wary of lawyers/attorneys from past experience and obvious misgivings. I voluntarily sought the help of Mr. Britt for tax advice related to my small business. I based my decision on what lawyer to choose based, in large part, to these google reviews. Now that I have worked with Mr. Britt, I can say that my experience confirms what previous reviewers have said. He is very down-to-earth while knowledgeable at the same time. He was very clear with his fees and they were reasonable for the services he rendered. Cares about his clients more than just taking their money. Highly recommend.

Dan knows his stuff. He is well versed in case law that pertains to tax issues. He works hard on behalf of his client, and he does not waste any time. I know more than most in hiring attorneys as I've had to hire 10 attorneys since 2010, due to complicated legal matters linked to the passing/estate(s) of 3 family members. Thus, I know when I am dealing with an outstanding and masterful attorney such as Dan. He's honest and straight forward. You will know what is going on with your case simply by talking to Dan. He's thorough and follows through; Dan brought my complicated tax matter to closure in my favor, in what I'd term as an unprecedented timeframe completion with the IRS; a government entity that works extremely slowly. I am personally so very thankful to Dan, for his hard work, and resolution of my case. He was truly a blessing!
