This place is nothing but a bunch of criminals, a debt from 2005, took them 20 years to “find” me even tho I have worked and lived in Idaho the past 20 years..: now a bill that was 105 dollars is now 3000+!!! Ask for some kinda settlement ya right!!! They don’t do that!!!! What a joke!!! Bbb here I come. And will also be speaking to the attorney general!!

I have never, in my entire life heard of this company or Mark l. Clark, until today. I just received a large set of documents in the mail from the offices of Mark L. Clark, attorney at law filled with language that most have no hope of understanding. After calling the number provided and asking (several times) for an explanation in layman's terms, here's what they meant to say: They will be garnishing my wages because back in 2013, I required help of some kind from a medical professional. THEY ARE GARNISHING MY WAGES BECAUSE BACK IN 2013, I GOT SICK AND COULDN'T PAY THE BILL???? I also found after careful research that although predatory companies like this count on the 5 year statute of limitations, this company was late and filled for renewal 3 days past the 5 year mark. If you or someone you know has had any communication with this company, do not give in to them. Do your research. Get help. Let them know that we won't stand for this. That's what I'll be doing starting Monday.

Apparently there is only 2 people in the whole office i can speak to Kathy & Silvia. Both were rude & stated there was no one else on the whole office i could speak too only them. Giving false information stating i have to repay everything over again all over 1 missed Payment. Doesn’t let you speak to the attorney and doesn’t give any other possible options when it comes to paying off your debt.

I notice that the only ones giving these people a satifactory rating are people who use them to collect money. I guess if you don't mind the rudeness of those doing this business for you, they might get the job done. If I could give no stars I would. No signage on the actual law office. I had to search for it. We agreed to a settlement amount. Paid it. They refused to give us any letter stating that the debt was paid. Betty told me that they don't send out letters. Then she proceeded to belittle me for having had to deal with them to begin with. She suggested that me asking for a formal letter declaring the debt paid satisfactorily was me not trusting them. For being an attorneys office, they certainly don't act professionally (and that is putting it nicely).

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. I had a medical bill from a surgery a few years back. I will admit my fault in pushing out paying the bill for quite some time however, the bill that was sent to collections was not the correct amount. I worked out the bill with the medical facility and a corrected bill was sent to CBI. I paid my portion of the bill immediately after the correction was made however, I calculated a different interest amount than what they were saying I owed. I asked multiple times for a breakdown of the interest charge itself so that I could see why I was being charged that amount. I was told multiple times that they would send this out however I never received it. I received another call from them today that prompted this message. I recently moved (4/10/2017) and was told that was likely the reason I didn't receive the most recent letter they sent. The funny thing is, they sent the letter on 3/27/2017. I also have had all my mail forwarded and have had no problems with any other mail. I was then told well the letter says "do not forward" so you may not have received it because of that however, I was also told in the same conversation that they did not receive the letter back so where did it go? I think they simply did not send it because they don't want me to see that the interest they are trying to charge me is not correct. I have explained to them that I am happy to pay what is owed as I did with the actual remaining amount itself however, I am not going to pay an amount I do not believe is correct without having something to verify the amount. I have requested before to speak to a supervisor. Left a message and never received a call back however I was told today that their notes show they transferred me to a supervisor and I hung up!?!? Why would I ask for a supervisor only to hang up the call? Why would I continue to answer their numerous calls and actually call them back when I miss their call if I was trying to not pay? Maybe management will see this and I can actually get this resolved but I'm not counting on it with these people.
