Mark Pancrazio, Attorney At LAW

I needed to get my affairs in order in light of the recent pandemic, so I looked for someone to set up a trust account for my heirs. I found an Estate Planner, Cipparone and Zacarro, and used their associate Mark Pancrazio out of Woodbury, CT. I went over the fees with Mr Pancrazio because they were vague from the start. After discussing I knew nothing about the costs of such matters, and since he did wills all the time, could he give me a more definite answer to costs. He assured me it would cost between $1500 and $2000. The bill was paid which was over $2000, the trust was written by Mr Pancrazio, the paperwork was picked up by me, and a few days later I received another bill for $432. Surely this must be a mistake, so I inquired. That’s when he informed me I had signed an fee agreement. Did that mean our talk about fees was in vain? And honestly, the bill covered stuff that seems should have been part of original costs, ie... review of deed and tax form, review of email concerning living will and bank on record, email of living will, document execution, and modification of cover letter. Mr Pancrazio knew of all my belongings before he started my trust paperwork, did he overlook these things? How does one justify another $430 on a quoted $1500-2000 bill? In addition to, Mr Pancrazio had not filed the paperwork to the deed of the house as I was in the middle of a refinance, so he asked me to let him know when it was complete, and then he would file the deed. When I let him know, I was informed another bill would be coming, a filing fee, and more of his time. Was this another oversight on his part? Or was I simply duped? I reached out to the senior partner, Mr Cipparone a couple of weeks ago, but still haven’t heard anything back. My Will is in the hands of Cipparone and Zaccaro, my trust in them is shattered. They have not been honest during this process. When I die, it is my heir that will learn more on their integrity. Very disappointed.
