Plenty of walking paths, various places to park and a good bit of green areas to sit down and relax. Located minutes from Wrightsville beach and close to downtown Wilmington.

If possible I would give zero stars to this school! My daughter is suffering bullying and I went to school to explain. The school did absolutely nothing!!! I hate to see my daughter crying saying how much she hate her school that she has no friends. She was a happy kid before enter this awful school!

UNCW hosts amazing events for the arts: cinema, dance, concerts, choral events, jazz, even opera and more!! Parking is available, the staff is professional and kind. It is truly a gem to be enjoyed by many, give it a try!! Volunteer opportunities are available!!

The professors in the online accelerated MBA program are top notch, accommodating and experts in their respective fields. The administrative staff however…… the administrative staff will ruin your academic experience. The amount of “human error” costing time and money to solve is absurd. I would challenge anyone with an administrative issue (tech support, registration, financial aid etc) to find a member of the staff to either accept responsibility for their mistakes or to say “yes I’m the person whose job that is, let me help you”. Turn in a late assignment and get a failing grade because students are held accountable -totally understandable. Paid members of the faculty that won’t or can’t do their jobs? Keep on paying them, results don’t matter in the academic world as long as the students money is flowing into the university. Great MBA program just manage your expectations before trying to solve any administrative issues. I had to threaten to sue for the cost of my tuition when they could not produce my diploma before they finally solved the issue.

I went to UNCW as a freshman in college and sadly it was not the right place for me. I have nothing against the educational system of the school, but the city is a hit or miss depending on what you like to do. The beach is incredible and so much fun, but can get distracting very easily when it comes to trying to complete schoolwork. There is not much to do on the campus and it is very spread out so it takes awhile to get to different locations. The food is also not very good, with barely any options. The school also does not have a football team, which ended up being a deal breaker for me in the end.
