Horrible experience with Bainbridge Escrow/Winslow Law Group. From the very beginning the transaction lacked professionalism and attention to detail. There was no communication on closing. I received a phone call 2 days before closing asking if I was available the next morning to come and sign. I was away on a business trip and was to be back the day of closing for signing. With the lack of communication on signing, they then pushed the closing date 6 days due to the holiday. Furthermore, they incorrectly prepared the HUD, then did not provide an updated HUD once the mistake was caught. Still 8 days later after planned closing the transaction is not complete due to complete lack of competency at Bainbridge Escrow. I do not recommend to anyone. Should have known better when you walk into the office and see papers all of the floors.

Mary Blossom was extremely helpful as we worked through a difficult and complex residential real estate transaction. Her tenacity, attention to detail and follow-through saved the day.

Total lack of incompetence with this company. They where suppose to collect fees for HOA dues and they did not. They came back to our HOA and said it was our responsibility to collect them. Yet with the last 8 transactions they collected them each time. Nor sure about the morals on this company. See the other bad reviews about this company. Stay away and find someone else.

Winslow Law Group has an office on Bainbridge Island on Ericksen Ave and Harris Street in Seattle. nI would NOT recommend attorney JB "Bill" Ransom of Winslow Law Group, PLLC. It is my experience and opinion that he is unprofessional and I would not trust him to handle my legal matters. nHe contacted me by mail, stating that he was a "debt collector" attempting to collect a debt for his client, threatening me with legal action if I did not pay. nMr. Ransom failed to recognize that his client's claim was a non collect-able and a non actionable claim. In fact, I do not owe his client any money. nThe fact that Mr. Ransom attempted to collect a non collect-able debt and threatened me with legal action for an invalid debt is a violation of a Federal Law, FDCPA xa7 807 [15 USC 1692e](5) "a debt collector may not use false deceptive misleading representations to collect a debt ...threat to take any action that cannot legally be taken". nI made multiple attempts to communicate with Mr. Ransom, all calls and letters went unanswered. One day after many months, I called and he happened to pick up the phone. I asked to discuss the matter and his response was to swear, call me names and say he doesn't want to talk to me and hung up the phone like a child. I was shocked!!! nOMG how unprofessional!! nI guess I just expected more from a legal professional who has taken an Oath of Attorney, to be able to conduct himself in a professional manner and honor the Oath, rather than act like a scorn child. nMr. Ransom's action violated my rights as well as State and Federal laws, threatening legal action with a non-actionable debt, intimidation, harassment and not willing to communicating with me, as the opposing party to resolve the matter. Mr. Ransom's behavior is questionable and I think he needs to be held accountable for his actions. I have filed complaints with both the Washington State Attorney General and Washington State Bar Association.
