I personally stopped into this law firm today to inquire about the trust fund that was supposed to be set up in my father’s will. First of all, the staff seemed quite surprised of my inquiries. Apparently that is something I have to set up, which is very strange because that’s what I thought a lawyer who deals with estate and wills did. So now I have set up 2 EIN numbers and they are both wrong. The bank cannot help me due to conflict of interest. The bank did say that I could go to a CPA or another lawyer to set up the trust fund. So now I’m contemplating on getting a second lawyer to complete the work this lawyer didn’t do. It should also be fun at tax time dealing with three different EIN numbers two of which I don’t know what to do with now.
It took us 2 years to close my fathers checking account after he died. We sent dozens upon dozens of phone calls and emails to this lawyer. The staff is beyond rude. They have no problem lying straight to your face stating that the lawyer will get right back to you. Once we finally got the paperwork, we found out it was incomplete and the trust wasn’t set up. Which was part of the reason we got a lawyer in the first place. Don’t even waste your time. Don’t believe me, call and leave a message asking for a lawyer to return your call. They will never call you back.
This law firm helped me out when no one else would! They are honest and fair, and I would recommend them for any probate or estate issues. Thank you!
