In 2005 Mr. McKellar was appointed to represent my friend. My friend says that Mr. McKellar devoted more of his energies trying to plead him out, than listening to my friends wishes to challenge the illegal search that had occurred in his case. Eventually after seeking to have new counsel appointed Mr. McKellar was removed from my friends case, and he ultimately won his case and had all charges dismissed using the same issues he had sought Mr. McKellar to raise, but who refused to do so. If you are a client like my friend who merely wanted to invoke his right to assist in the preparation of his own defense, well I am sorry to say, but unless Mr. McKellar has set aside and vacated his professional ego, this attorney is not the right attorney for you. However, if you are looking for an engineer to get you down that ol' railroad, then maybe perhaps he is your guy. My recommendation: Keep Googling for a much better attorney!!
