Law Office of Michael A. Smolensky LLC

My review is about what my experience was with Michael, not about how I feel about recommending him or not. You can form your own opinion. My situation should've been a 10 to 15 minute conversation about my issue, not a 4 hrs & $200 later conversation. The most disturbing thing about the consult was the cost. Instead of this being some astronomical fee like the $2500, which $200 of it was a consult fee, I called another Atty who explained that not only will it NOT be $2500, but not even close to a $1000, and that it was a shame that I paid the $200 consult fee for something that I shouldn't be worried about. I think Michael tried to strike fear in me and take advantage of me NOT knowing the legal system. Either that was his strategy or he is money hungry. Regardless of the situation, if he is as seasoned an Atty as he claims to be or tried to portray, $2500 for my situation is uncalled for. You make your own decision to ask for his services.
