Michael Booher, Attorney at Law

Reviews

Do not use this lawyer. He doesn't care about you or what your offense could do to your life, he's simply there to get you in and out of the system as fast as possible so he can move on to his next client. He was assigned to me by Wright State as my legal defense when I was a student there. I was being charged with domestic violence after I had called the police upon being assaulted by my half uncle in my home. It was my word against his on who had instigated the attack and who had acted in self defense. Michael suggested I enter into a plea deal rather than go to court despite the fact that I had no prior criminal record and my half uncle had been convicted of violent crimes in the past. He used scare tactics by telling me that if convicted I would be expelled from my university and with only four months until I graduated that really spooked me. I had no prior experience with legal matters and I was relying entirely on his expertise. I've since spoken to a couple of other attorneys and the chances of me being convicted given our prior records and the circumstances of the assault are slim to none. I now have a disorderly conduct on my record that has cost me at least two jobs that I know of as well as numerous other inconveniences. Just last year I was turned down for an apartment because of my record. When you look for a lawyer you want professional service and knowledge but you also want empathy and to know that he has your best interest at heart. With Michael, that simply isn't the case.
I would like to give credit to Michael Booher for assisting me with my expungement case. My first time having to go through this process and believe me I couldn’t have done it without him. When I stayed in Dayton Ohio I was convicted of anti sound amplifier back in 2011 of April. My intentions were not to disturb anyone I was just listening to music & I received a ticket. After all I realized at a young age not only did I buy my first vehicle on my own.I made a huge mistake buying a car with a sound system in it and I pretty much gained a misdemeanor from it. Every since I tried to put it behind me but I knew after several years of having it on my record it wouldn’t just go away on its own. So, I called Michael Booher for his expertise to help clear my record. He was proficient at his job.He made the process uncomplicated and accommodated with my schedule. I currently stay in Michigan and Mr. Booher made sure I was an eligible applicant first, before he filed an Affidavit. It took about 2 to 3 months for me to get a court date, which is the normal time frame when filing for expungement. I didn’t have to worry about traveling the long distance from Michigan to Ohio to appear in court because Mr.Booher also filed a motion to excuse my appearance in court. Im a college student I work many hours as a security officer and Michael understood the hardships of my busy life .I appreciate everything he has done for me to overcome this horrible feeling I’ve had about myself. I felt something so minor made me feel like a criminal when I know wasn't one.I cried when he notified me about my expungement being granted. Thank you so much for all of your hard work I feel so much better about myself. I recommend Michael Booher as a lawyer I took my chances with him and he really came through for me.Remember to always have faith “for Christ is the end of law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” Roman 10:4
By the way that's my picture of Robert Redford going into the liberty Tower while filming "The old Man with a gun."
