I had a somewhat complex legal situation and did not know how to proceed. Mr Pontoni asked a few questions and sorted out the key factors. He developed a basic framework and methodology for me to proceed. Great knowledge of the law and excellent strategic thinking. Knows what he can do and when it might be necessary to recommend other professionals with appropriate expertise. Call him first- if he cannot help, he will point you in the right direction.

I was in need of a legal consultation and Michael proved to be extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We did a consultation over the phone which was very convenient for me. Update: It's my opinion that "DaveC" and "Jeff" are planted reviews. Who writes a review that sounds like an ad? Trust me, Mike is far from "brilliant" or "extremely professional". He's an idiot. Please read my post below, originally published in June 2011..................................... I hired Mike Pontoni to represent me in December 2009. He was the most unreliable, unprofessional, incompetent lawyer I've ever worked with. I'm a successful businessman and have retained dozens of attorneys for various purposes, and I've had good ones and bad ones, but this guy is the absolute worst. For our first scheduled court appearance, he didn't show up. No show, no call. Nothing. It was rescheduled, and again in his secretary's words "neglected to calendar" the appointment. Neglected to calendar appointments on two occasions. His punctuality isn't the only problem - being unprepared in court, lying about paying necessary fees, sending court notices to the wrong address (one time I found out because he accidently sent it to me!) and generally being a buffoon. Even other lawyers in town who know Pontoni say he simply doesn't care and he should get out of the business. Do not hire this moron.

I was in need of some legal advice for creating a business corporation in multiple states. Mr. Pontoni was very helpful and knowledgeable. We spoke over the phone and his guidance helped get me on the right path. Thank you Mr. Pontoni for your help.
