First off, this review is long over due. Let me start off by saying that if you're thinking about retaining this firm, run! I retained this firm through my union (Local 371) back in 2022 and was represented by Arthur DiBerardino. I made Arthur aware that a similar prior case had already been filed by my landlord in Civil Court and that he should attempt to get this dismissed or stayed under those conditions, my request went completely ignored. Two years pass and this year I decided to give Arthur the boot. I filed an Order to Show Cause and made the Judge aware of what I was telling Arthur all along. The Judge agreed and the case was stayed pending outcome of the Civil case. For two years Mirkin and Gordon did nothing while getting paid. I am glad I decided to defend this litigation myself as Arthur would have completely hindered it. Like I said earlier, RUN!

I was sent to this firm by my union. The first lawyer did not listen to my concerns, this was a landlord tenant issue. She had no knowledge of housing law. I wrote the union and one of the Supervisors from the firm called me that I would be given a very experienced lawyer. What I got was a lawyer that submitted a letter not approved by me written the previous lawyer to the Division of Housing and Community Renewal. After this I told the lawyer my concerns and what I needed. She agreed to have a phone conference. She never called me on that date. However, she called me 8 days later. Basically she had already decided how she would proceed with my case and my concerns did not matter. I was baffled ,annoyed and absolutely disgusted. I sent a letter to this firm immediately that I no longer wanted their services. I have also written the union. I'm now trying to make sure that they do not touch my case or appear on my behalf. If you are ever referred to this firm RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Do not listen to any reassurances.

Absolutely the worst firm ever. Attorneys here are not invested in litigation but only work to overcharge clients in billable hours. No strategy other than to offer you an inequitable settlement. Their lack of support actually results in assisting opposing counsel. Countless negative reviews are an embarrassment and they don’t care to make improvements. Save yourself and seek out another law firm.

Where do I even begin?!! I needed legal help and my union made a referral to this agency. one of their attorneys left me a VM, so I decided to reach back out and hear what they have to say. From the moment you call you know you are getting attorneys that do not care about you or the case. The front desk person is rude, hung up on me twice, on the third call the receptionist claims “the attorney is free to take a call, but then comes back on the line and states: I’m sorry she just stepped out” ummm ???? I’m not even a client yet I’m just trying to listen to what the attorney is trying to offer so how can she be here one minute and gone the next?? Finally, I give the receptionist some details as to the subject matter of the case and how soon I need an attorney and the first thing she say is, go ahead and send us all your paperwork so we can start working on this right away, again ???? ???? where is the attorney client contract, what’s the pricing? How good is your attorney? Overall I would not recommend

Good luck if you need to use one of these lawyers for child support and are a man. Might as well self represent and have a better outcome. Told a man who practically could die from heart failure (all health documents etc were submitted aligning with this) that he’s “playing games” forcing a bizarre settlement for an ADULT child because they are simply unfit and avoidant to go to trial. “Attorneys” do NOT have your best interest. Sad.
