It is very strange that I hsd never filed for Medicare application , but somebody filed medicare application on my behalf by doing identity theft .when I called Noridian Health care and reported fraud they hung up on me . Isn't it medicare fraud by using somebody's identity who ou s not even eligible for Medicare

They process Medicare claims but do not have a number for patients to call who are trying to get their Medicare claims processed. Instead you have to call Medicare who then tells you that there is nothing they can do because your claim is with Noridian. So the only way to contact them is by mail. How in the year of 2018 are we only able to contact and ask questions by snail mail? So when I ask a question and get the same response that is not helpful. Then I waste money on sending 30+ pages worth of claims and forms every time as they go back and forth since there is no one to speak with over the phone! They ask for receipts for bills that I paid in full with cash at each of my appointments. The bill and receipt are the same thing. It is the exact thing that I sent in last year when I filed a bunch of my claims at the same time and they were processed with no problems. So why do I need to show proof of payment now when the form to fill out for reimbursement states, "Medicare will pay you directly when you complete this form and attach an itemized bill from your doctor or supplier. Your bill does not have to be paid before you submit this claim for payment, but you MUST attach an itemized bill in order for Medicare to process this claim". So Medicare does not require a receipt, but Noridian who processes the claims all of a sudden does? How is this legal? I tried calling them and a rude lady said there was no way to help me since I am not a provider. So again they are just trying to pawn me back off to Medicare who can't do anything since the claims go to Noridian. Worst service ever!

If I could rate Noridian minus 5 stars, I would. Erroneously and without notice or any due process Noridian terminated my Medicare provider privileges (which is required by all private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid). Unidentifiable Noridian personnel ignored my attorney’s phone calls and letters, patient petitions and the FACT that I provided excellent care to an underserved population for 32 years - none of which mattered to them. Noridian’s “administrative appeal” process took 3 years and $30k attorney fees, bankrupting me. Upon finally ruling in my favor, they failed to notice my attorney of their decision and offered no compensation for unlawfully excluding me from practicing medicine for insured patients for over 3 years. Rather than correcting their error by immediately reinstating my wrongfully-terminated privileges, they required me to reapply via their bureacratic procedures. No notice, no due process, no accountability, no integrity, no conscience, no compliance with their own regulations in my case! The evil creatures running this government contract monopoly simply don’t give a damn about the consequences of their incompetence. CMS should terminate Noridian and demand accountability of their replacement contractor corporation.

The worst place I have ever worked. You could be great across all metrics and miss something like phone time, because you're training new employees. Monthly meeting put on probation. The amount of turnover is crazy because they don't compensate their call centers at all or provide any support after angry calls. Take advantage of their employees as much as possible without any good incentives, as well as enforced OT Christmas week with less than a week noticed. Not a place to apply.
