This lawyer is a big cheat. He has an Ill-reputation for taking money from his clients but will work as per the opposite party by taking huge sums of money from them. He was caught red handed recently when his client discovered that behind her back, he has erased parts of her petition with a whitener pen and submitted to court to save the opposite party, where even the police has shown the opposite party as accused. He wasn’t even giving her certified copies of the same. He also protects NRI clients of his by hiding their jobs in court so their spouses cannot take maintenance. In a case, a lady with a son of 10years was being cheated by her husband who lives abroad but shows himself jobless and this advocate has helped hide it from court. He himself discusses his clients personal details with other clients and opposite party lawyers. If you are being represented by him you will notice he is not given any importance at all by anyone. His MO is to take money from his clients, stretch the case as long as possible, till the client goes to another lawyer out of frustration. He will not even return your money. He is a known cheat. One can stand near the court and ask about him and will get a ditto of this review. Just knows how to manipulate and waste time and money. Stay away from this cheat. We have raised a complaint with Bar council of India and Odisha to cancel his license and of his associate for fraud with client. Please Note- All the good reviews are from Bots or his interns, employees or affiliated businesses. Its just obvious. The real reviews are the negative reviews posted by people who have been scammed by Pradipta Varma and his associate Panda. Update- This idiot lawyer again tried influencing the same client’s next lawyer along with Opp Party’s lawyer but to no avail. These leeches have just formed a nexus to make off money looting victims/clients by preying on their circumstances. Its a great business, victims spend the money and never get it back, and these buggers go unpunished for screwing the case. No shame left in these vermins.

Our Son had taken legal services from Varma Associates for 4 local cases and 1 SC case. In beginning we felt assured but after 1 year it looked like he only cared about his fees only. He did not even attend the cases but took fees for 2-3 yrs. Very unprofessional and has no moral conduct. We trusted him for 4 years but now felt cheated. Please avoid him.
