Worst lawyer in El Paso (that’s saying something, since there are lots of bad attorneys here) don’t pay this guy a dime. He has a reputation of missing hearings then playing it off like he supposedly called the judge to negotiate for the case. This is false, you pay an attorney to enter on the case and literally represent you. Parra took the money quick then forgot about showing up to the hearing and when asked what happened he became agitated and defensive. Promised us to give us refund then called and said nevermind. Texas State Bar is definitely going to hear about this. The Parra brothers are not to be trusted, even the judge knows their shady reputation. Beware! Save your money for an actual attorney.

Contacted Manuel to assist with my son’s citation, we paid him $400 right after consultation. 15 min before the first hearing ( after multiple unanswered phone calls) he called to say he’s not going to attend the hearing. My son and I had to appear my ourselves and we informed the judge of the situation and the judge was not surprised as this is apparently Mr Parras reputation. Beware of this “lawyer” . He hung up when we asked for a refund and his brothers office apparently was not at all surprised at the phone call.
