I was referred to this law firm through the Milwaukee bar. The attorney in question spent about forty minutes on the phone upon initial contact. I filed a discrimination suit. My first red flag was that there was never an intake process done. The second red flag was that as time went by the attorney was slow to respond or not at all for weeks, as the window for right to sue was coming to a close.Third red flag, was after my last contact to firm as to whether or not the suit was filed, this attorney calls me back from personal vehicle and says that the firm is merging with law firm that represents opposing side and that's bad news for me. Really! Mergers just don't happen overnight so this attorney was purposely letting precious time lapse by at my expense. Playing both sides of the fence information that I provided could and perhaps was used against myself. Did this firm/attorney cross ethical lines? Very unfortunate way of calling themselves professionals. This tells me that the attorney in question did not see that I had a legal stance to begin with or wasn't looking out for my best interest at onset.
I dealt with two of their lawyers that were extremely rude.
