We hired Mr. Praasterink to handle a traffic violation and sent him a retainer. After he reviewed the case he advised against pursuing it and offered to refund the entire retainer. I thought that offer was very generous as he had spent time on the matter including calling me when he was out of the office I believe on vacation. I said to keep whatever I owed him for his services and refund the difference. A day or two later the refund arrived with him charging a minimal amount for this work. I am was impressed with this forthrightness about our case and his fairness about fees. I hope I don't need a UP attorney again but if I ever do it will be Mr. Praasterink.

Hired for a speeding ticket. Initially only received an email with a very simple explanation. No details. Had to email for him to call. Would have been better off paying the ticket without an extra loss

0 % customer service. No returned phone calls for 2 weeks because of "vacations"

This lawyer is exceptional. Really cares about his clients and has high standard of ethics.

I believe I would have done a better job myself.
