The women were kind and answered all my questions. It does seem like the client has to do a lot of leg work and paperwork on their own. The office staff did reassure me many times, which I greatly appreciated. I, too, never met the lawyer until the day of my hearing. It was a 3rd party lawyer, for lack of a better word.
