I emailed a copy of the contract I wanted to discuss in advance, but it was obvious the lawyer hadn't looked over it before our teleconference. To be fair, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I thought at least I'd get some form of insight. Instead I got "you may be in the right but they're a huge company, so you're screwed", not a direct quote, but that was the jest. If I'm paying you $250 for a teleconference, the least you could do is actually read the contract in question, and then provide me with fact based guidance.
