Honesty......Integrity.....Morally sound. I met Mr. Morris at a time in my life when things were as bleak and miserable as they could get. My marriage had fallen apart, I was getting a very small window to see my kids, and finances were a mess. My first impression of Mr. Morris was that of extreme confidence and quality. He expressed his compassion for my situation, we talked as friends, and he asked if I was ready to move forward. Rich, then explained his role in my case. He made no promise of win or loss, but an very direct assesment of my case. "This is what I have seen in the past and what I believe will be fair. My main concern for you is your children. My main concern is to maximize your time with your kids and keep this out of the courtroom, as that will only damage them more." We talked very little stratergy and very little about the case. I put a ton of faith in him as an attorney, as a person, and more importantly, as a friend. Almost 2 years of back and forth, 2 very hard years, many pep talks from that friend, Rich, a few talks from the father like figure, Rich, and a few good laughs and hard conversations with a friend that had my family's best interest in mind. At the end of my divorce, his predictions were spot on. I will warn any potential client to this....If you want an attorney to run up your bill, tell you lies and mistruths to boost your confidence in a loosing situation, look for another attorney. He will not do that. Honesty and integrity are key.
