I can't say enough about how much I love working for Right at Home Corporate. We live and breathe the mission to improve the life of those we serve. The culture is unlike any other corporate office in which I've worked. Right at Home values people, they want the best for their employees, for the caregivers and for seniors and disabled adults all over the world. I see that in action every day from the way we interact with each other, the way we strive to support and honor caregivers, the way we care about the best interest of aging adults by providing resources, professional training and helpful tools. nnRight at Home has partnered with Free Wheelchair Mission to raise awareness and funds for individuals in need of mobility around the globe. Each year Right at Home invests time and money into providing mobility and making a difference in the lives of individuals in need, as well as making an impact on the RAH staff as well. Right at Home hosts fundraising events and sends several of our staff members on vision trips to poverty stricken areas to serve individuals in need first hand. As a Free Wheelchair Mission committee member, I know how important this cause is to our company and I'm so proud to be a part of that. I'm proud of the compassionate people who've built this company into what it is and that we continue to carry that model into every aspect of the business.

Right At Home in Tyler texas was hired one hour a week to dump trash and do a load of laundry or two for my 88 year old mother. It was also agreed that we would increase the time to two hours a week which would include a shower in 4 to 6 weeks. They never showed up on the agreed upon time. They were any where from an hour to two hours late. They would send young girls around 18-22 years of age that had no initiative or professionalism. Once they couldn't get anyone and sent the case manager an hour and a half late. The straw that broke the camel's back was last week when a young woman showed up a half hour late with her 2 year old son which she could not control and my mother had to correct to leave her things alone and babysit. The young woman was inappropriately dressed and was told repeatedly to leave and take her child home and she refused to leave. My mother was so stressed over this situation and what was to be a help turned out to be an unhealthy situation for my mother. I spoke with the director about this entire comedy of errors of which she said she had no knowledge of any of this, which begs the question, who is minding the store? Needless to say, I fired them that day. I was also reassured that I would not be charged for that last incident and I was. Since it was an automatic bank draft, I now have to try and recoup those monies. Who exactly is running this agency? nnBEWARE OF THESE PLACES AND ALWAYS WATCH WHO THEY SEND TO YOUR LOVED ONES HOME.

Right at Home provided the right care for my Mom for several years. Her caregiver, Barb, was wonderful and helped take Mom to the store for groceries, sat and talked with Mom, and reminded her about any healthcare needs...such as taking her medications. When my Mom fell and was hospitalized for a short amount of time, Right at Home provided 24/7 care until Mom was back to being sure on her feet. Thanks Right at Home for helping my Mom stay one day longer in her own apartment!

UK franchise left my 91 year old father without any care for six days over Christmas 2015 knowing I was out of the country. He paid several months in advance for care. We were told there was no one available to look after him, which meant we had to buy last minute tickets for an international flight and managed to arrive home on Christmas Day two hours after the carer left.nnV A Bram (Dr)
