My wife and I were going to do one of those,"do it yourself wills." We had not done a will decades. We decided to use an attorney instead. We called Smith Law and they advised us what materials to bring . It was completed in just 2 visits. Lawyer Joanna Smith and her staff were very courteous and professional through the entire process. I would recommend Smith Law, P.C. without hesitation .

We just kept putting off going to a Lawyer, so very glad we went to Smith Law. We felt very comfortable, it was easy to go over everything we needed to do. A very convenient location and they make you feel welcome. Joanna Smith is a great lawyer and we were very pleased with the outcome. We did call two other lawyers they never got back to us. We highly recommend This business.

I was not impressed! After taking the two hour drive to Canon City for the scheduled consultation, I was called 20 minutes prior to the meeting and told that it would be a telephone meeting. Is this the all too common practice right now of "taking advantage of the pandemic"??? The Attorney appeared to be more interested in the money I had to do what I wanted to do then she was in what I actually wanted to do. She did not tell me anything I did not already know from a careful and judicious review of the internet. Pretty much an unneeded and useless expense of $100.

Joanna has help us on more than one occasion. She has always been professional and forthright with us and most recently, patient and kind dealing with my aging friend who needed some help with planning for his estate and care. Her office staff is pleasant and helpful as well.

I can not say enough about my experience. It was fabulous. She was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. She was honest about how she could and could not help me, saving me a lot of money. I would use her again!
