I’ll never forget the day my two Pomeranians were playing in my backyard, and they suddenly began yelping loudly. They were being viciously attacked by my neighbor’s Pit Bull and German Shepherd after they had broken through a damaged fence. I instinctively ran to their aid and attempted to separate them. The dogs turned on me and attacked. They bit my hand, causing lacerations, and my beloved dog was severely injured. We both went bleeding to our respective emergency rooms. I had never filed a lawsuit. I didn’t know what, if anything, I was entitled to recover. Michael listened carefully, asked questions, and explained the course of action. He prepared the lawsuit and discovery and sent it to the owners and renters of the house. Their lawyer contacted Michael and settled the matter without a suit. That was particularly impressive to me because he need only have filed the lawsuit, and he could have charged a larger fee. He didn’t. I appreciate the fact that Michael got the facts, studied the law, and acted in a way to bring maximum pressure on the other side in a manner that resulted in a prompt and very satisfactory recovery that exceeded all of my expectations.
