They do not care about anyone or anything there other than money. They claim to have values, but it’s all talk. They don’t follow through with what they claim to believe. There is no employee engagement at all. There is no praise given when you do a good job there. There is only constant correction and verbal abuse. Correction is good and needed, but not the verbal abuse. Praise should be given too when doing something well, but it’s not. They constantly lie there to keep employees around, but then end up back stabbing them later. It’s not stable and employees constantly get laid off. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. There are so many better companies out there to work for. Don’t get suckered into this one.
I worked for Sutherland a number of years ago and I can honestly say it was one of the worst employment experiences of my life. They don't care about their employees and they deceive people into thinking that they landed a good job with a great company when in actuality it's just a crumby call center job that they don't provide you with any training for. The pay is lousy, the customers are incredibly rude, and the team leaders and managers are just as bad. Then comes the worst part which is the constant mass layoffs they do when they feel they don't need you anymore or the program business they assign you to expires. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Sutherland Global. It is, in my opinion, a terrible and underhanded business to work for.
This company is a complete waste of time. Please stay clear if you have any respect for yourself professionally. Do not apply at this company they tend to over hire have class after class after class. And then when they realize that they over hired, over budget they just Mass lay off people. It doesn't matter how long you been with the company how good you're doing with the company. They have no respect for people and families as they just change your schedule whenever they like. One week you can be working early mornings the next thing you could be working late nights. You have no weekends off it is not negotiable. This company needs to be brought to his knees and penalized by the government.
I have been with this company for three years plus working in Houston and never had to wait for a week to get replacement Monitors so I can get back to work. I call more twice a day for them to tell me that the ticket is still pending on the GTI side and that they have not updated the ticket with any kind of tracking number. My supervisor and her boss have been sending emails including they boss name in the email and no response no nothing. This is unacceptable and the pay can be more than 14.00. I am still waiting on my two monitors that I never got.
if you just need a quick job until you find a good job then sure, this place could be good for a lil experience. but i highly suggest just getting your experience and getting out when you can. there is not much respect for anyone going above and beyond unless you work directly for Sutherland and not on an actual program. if you don't work for a sales driven team then expect less respect. they don't really care about you unless you are bringing in money. the facilities are disgusting but that is not because of the janitorial staff. they do their best and clean the bathrooms several times a day. unfortunately there are just gross disrespectful people working in some of the programs there.
