I hired Hang Tat regarding my custody case in August 2021. She was highly recommended to me. From the moment that I consulted with her, to the end of our time on my case, she had put in so much dedication into this matter and I fully trusted her with my case. Family cases are such a delicate matter and not one moment as her client, did I question her intentions or questioned if she actually cared. I have been fighting to see my son for over 3 years now. In such a short amount of time with her, she made that happen. I’ve now already seen my son twice and this would have never happened, if I didn’t have such a determined and caring lawyer as herself, advocating and fighting for me. 3 years of not seeing my son, in just 4 months, she made this possible. She recently informed me she needed to withdraw from all her cases due to her accepting another position. I panicked. She reassured me that she “cares so much about my case and has faith”, that she would do everything she can to help me find a new lawyer she trusted and help me transition and hand off my case. The fact that she didn’t just drop me and say “Go find a new lawyer on your own” says a lot about who she is. She didn’t need to help me transition or find a new lawyer, BUT SHE DID! I now have a new lawyer, as of TODAY, that she helped me transition to and I know in my heart, I'm in good hands with her also. Words could never describe the gratitude I have in my heart for Hang Tat. Without her, I would not have seen my son. Hang Tat was and truly will always be a blessing in my life, and I finally feel that my broken family, has a bright future because of her.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hang Tat. She is professional, responsive, and straightforward. I am beyond grateful with her help through my divorce process. She is extremely knowledgeable and I fully trust her. I know she has my best interest at heart opposed to other attorneys who seem to just be in it for the money. Worst attorney I’ve ever worked with. Not responsive on anything. What should have been an easy case (I agreed to everything my ex-wife asked for) except the separation of property which I received as a gift/inheritance. Suddenly after not hearing from her for a month I get a text stating she will be withdrawing from my case as she accepted a position elsewhere and is closing her firm. I asked if she could file a last motion since we’re a couple of weeks away from her withdrawal which she said she will file at the next status hearing and she declined. Said she won’t be filing anything more on my case. Just dropped her client with no regard.

I made a life changing decision for myself and for my children. Although the process was emotionally and mentally draining at times, my experience with Mrs. Hang Tat was one that brought me comfort and security. Hang was always professional, listened to my concerns, offered her expertise, and advocating for myself and my children. I had the support of family and friends throughout the divorce process, but Hang was the individual that eased my anxiety and concerns when it came to custody, finances, and conflict that surfaced throughout the process. Hang made herself available when I needed clarification about any circumstance that needed my attention. I went into my initial consultation explaining that my children were my only priority; she put my children at the forefront at all times. I am pleased with the outcome and would strongly recommend Hang to others seeking representation.
