Wortman Law has always done a fantastic job with closings. Rachel always answers all of my questions and is so friendly and knowledgeable. Jayda always has a smile on her face when I walk in and helps me through the closing process with ease! I highly recommend Wortman Law Firm!

This firm was the closing attorney for the buyers of our home. I was disappointed in their performance. 1) They pushed the closing out a day without informing us, the sellers. 2) The buyer changed the type of loan (VA to conventional) requiring an addendum to the contract. Wortman didn't notify us. 3) When the firm wired the proceeds of our sale to our attorney the did not put any identifying information as to what transaction it was for or who the money belonged to - just wired it into our attorney's trust account. It took his staff several hours to discover it belonged to us. I hope the firm approves and if they don't I hope the public will vote to not do business with them.

I can only say that the pre-close communications were OK - Corey Miller reached out to me about a week before to sign the documents as we were out of state. However, post-close, Corey Miller did not return phone calls or emails. I was asking for a copy of the final close documents for my records. I still have not received anything despite repeated attempts.

The staff Rachel and Jasmine were most helpful, patient, courteous, efficient. The fees were fair. The service excellent. I am so glad my realtor Janet Heines suggested your firm. I will be selling my townhome in Shallotte next year and I intend to use your firm for that closing. Thank you ladies you were terrific. The firm made good choices when they added you both to the team. Please keep my data active for the next closing.

I have worked several closings with Wortman Law specifically with Rachel Stanley. She has always been top notch in handling my closings. Jasmine in their front office has always been prompt at returning my emails with questions or concerns. They have also been very thorough in their process and even finding some mistakes made on the lenders side. I would highly recommend using them for your closing needs.
