Having Jon cox represent me in court was an absolute detriment to my livelihood, his inability to clarify (the whole reason we "non-attorneys" need to hire someone who knows their way around a courtroom), and negligent non follow up caused me to miss deadlines which in turn added literal years to my time as a ward of the state of Idaho. Whether he had a personal vendetta, isn't capable enough to represent his clients, or simply had too much work. His representation was an absolute waste of money. My personal advice after the experience I had, is to retain ANYONE else, or go with a public defender. Jon cox will not represent you well as a defendant.
Jon's a winner. His skills in the courtroom out way his brass tax bedside manor. Jon cuts to the chase and is very matter of fact. He is a trial attorney without a doubt though. He knows how to respect the judge, persuade the jury and question a witness. I think for that reason, opposing counsels tends to try and avoid trials with him and may offer better pleas. Better than what you would see with a lesser respected attorney. I walked away a free man, verdict Not Guilty. Thank you Jon.
Jon Cox represented my friend who had a similar situation to the Depp/Heard trial. He is everything his profile says. He is aggressive and highly skilled in what he does. We are happy with the results. He made sure everyone knew both sides and which was the actual truth. Highly recommend his services. Thank you Jon!
When I saw him in action, Jon connected very quickly with the jury and maintained that rapport! He showed that the officer testifying was probably "misremembering" what actually happened. While being gentle, Jon was able to show that the young witness had likely been coached and manipulated. He was very personable in the courtroom, but when the prosecuting attorney tried certain things, Jon stood and objected before I knew was happening and got him shut down! It was a 1-day trial and the jury was out about 18 minutes before returning with a not-guilty verdict!
Jon did what he said he was going to do. For that I am thankful. I would recommend Jon to anyone that is needing legal help.
