This attorney was assigned to me by the Dallas county court judge as my Ad Litem for my divorce by abandonment. My divorce attorney, her assistant, and myself have tried for over 2 months to get a hold of him, and he will not respond. We've sent countless emails, and have left several voice messages (since no one ever picks up the phone, always goes to voice mail) to no avail. My attorney went to the judge to request a new ad litem due to him not responding and it was denied. Apparently he's in bed with the court officials or something. So apparently I'm stuck with this useless attorney.
Attorney Stacy Dunlop is the worse attorney ever. I would not recommend him whatsoever. He is often times court appointed and he’s familiar with the judges and other attorneys. He won’t fight for what’s best for your children. It’s all about politics with him. He doesn’t research. He just grabs the case the day of and whatever sounds good at the time he goes with. He asked for a list of character witnesses and never called not one of them. Please please do not hire this attorney. You are wasting your time. If he’s court appointed ask for someone else. WORST attorney ever!!!!!!!
As a client of Mr Dunlop's, I was remarkably pleased with my representation. Having to go to trial in a family matter case was very unnerving, however, after being briefed in advance by Mr. Dunlop it gave me the confidence to move forward. His command of the court room along with properly timed objections was a sight to see, and it made me feel proud that I had him on my team. I would certainly recommend Mr. Dunlop for anyone looking for a seasoned, sharp, detail oriented, attorney.
