Funny story, but a shout-out? to Vero Beach attorney Gerald T. Roden, who just successfully resolved a traffic infraction, involving accident, for one of my credit repair clients. Client came to see me about 8 weeks ago to fix their credit. Less than a mile from my office, they rear end a 2005 clunker with 550k miles on it. $14k in damage to their vehicle and a citation for "following too close." No injuries, but several witnesses. Client hires Jerry and he treats the citation like it's a federal case. Investigation, interviews, review of records, etc. Client even gets a three page missive the night before on how to dress for court... Jerry says "Bill - this isn't Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Things are different in Vero Beach." I'm like - "it's a fricking ticket - who cares?" Client challenges the citation and prevails on the merits.
