All I needed was an affidavit to get my passport and they couldn’t even do that. Lawyer was nice that one time I met him, but then 3 whole weeks went by and I couldn’t schedule the affidavit. His staff was rude and eventually started ignoring my calls and getting bothered that I asked for an update or at least appointment date to take care of the affidavit. Eventually I was over it and asked for my documents back on a Friday. Front desk lady was rude and told us to go back until Monday. She was upset that we hadn’t called to warn her we needed the documents. Not like they answered my calls anyway. I have never experienced such bad service in my life. I never write reviews but this is necessary. Please spend ur money elsewhere. I never got a refund even though no service was ever rendered. Even getting my documents back was like pulling teeth. If there was a 0 star option I would select that instead.

They took your money and never answer the phone. This people are ripping off the Latino community shame on them. Ratas avoid this law firm at all cost. They don't know anything about immigration law. But surely they take your money.

Our experience with the Cardenas/Rodriguez Law Firm was wonderful! Mr. Cardenas and Ms Rodriguez along with their assistant Alexandra we’re very helpful and knowledgeable in any questions we had. I regret waisting my time and calling this law firm. I doubted from the reviews that the firm would actually not call their clients as I work in the same work environment and know from first hand how tough it’s to catch up with cases. When it comes to payment they are very quick to accept it. However, it’s more than a week that the attorney or the assistant has not follow up with my cousins case. We were told that she was exposed to COVID and they couldn’t visit. We were told by my cousin a visit or an attempt visit never happened. She was also not exposed to COVID. FYI my uncle never ever spoke with the actual attorney (RED FLAG). The attorney never called him to let him know what were the next steps. If I didn’t call the firm we wouldn’t know what the “steps were”. We were told by reception that the attorney spoke with my cousin at the detention center but then the assistant contradicted and said otherwise. We learned she was released by immigration without the help of this attorney and is currently at a church. Whenever I had called for a follow up on the case the assistant or the receptionist would say the attorney is at the detention center. The issue here is lack of communication and actually providing the services we paid for. Do not waist your time when you are going through a tough situation. Very unprofessional.
