Law Office Of Lynnette M Goodnow

Reviews

Lynne is a very professional and knowledgeable local attorney. I have chosen her for several closings when the local bank offered a choice. She has prepared and filed homestead documents for me with ease and I will go back to her when I am ready to finalize my will. Highly recommended.
The office is small but welcoming with a friendly and knowledgeable receptionist. I worked with Attorney Carla A. Halpern on a Landlord issue. She was amazing! Attentive to my needs and fast to return calls and emails. She gave me the best advice for me, not her pocket. There is a fee for the initial consultation but I promise its worth it. .
Ms. Goodnow represented a family member who will remain unnamed for privacy purposes. She created a document for my family member that was clearly in dispute with a document she helped create in June of this year. She also threatened criminal action in a civil matter, which is a breach of the MA state bar code of ethics. It is my opinion that she should not be advising people on legal matters, as she does not follow the law herself. I suggest finding a more suitable firm for your legal needs and will be sharing this information with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers to help prevent her from harming others with her misconduct.
It has been over a year since Lynnette helped with my former husband's probate. I paid $7,000 to settle a lien on his vehicle. On October 13, 2016 Lynnette sent me a letter stating that she sent then $7,000 ( of my money) and asked for the title to be released to her office. "Upon receipt I will forward onto you" Well it's almost been a year now and I have yet to receive said title. I've tried every avenue possible to procure the title to no avail and no help from Lynnette.
I wanted to give zero stars to properly assess the services provided by Attorney Halpern. She wasted months of time and is very hard to get in touch with... Time to start all over again with someone else..
