I found Mr Spitz to be extremely knowledgeable. I will use his services again should I ever need a real estate Attorny again. He thoroughly explained my options regarding the sale of my real estate.I was needing an unconventional contract selling my manufactured home and the accompanying land it is on. He came recommended by another real estate Attorny, (most are not familiar with manufactured homes). He is easily what you would call an expert in this field!

The firms staff is extremely friendly and professional. Whenever I inquire on our case the staff quick to answer our questions or solve any issues.nnAttorney Robert Spitz is wonderful, aggressive and an effective attorney. We searched the area for a competent Probate/Real Estate Attorney that specializes his practice in this field and found him.nnAttorney Robert Spitz is very passionate and aggressive practitioner of law who goes into great lengths to research and prepare his cases. He studies the case and seeks the information needed to be effectively prepared.nnI would highly recommend him to friends, family and anyone looking for passionate and responsible attorney.

I caution you to not retain the law services of Robert Spitz. Here is my summary:nn1) Met the attorney for a 30 minute consultation to discuss my real estate issue. Paid $75.n2) Scheduled a second consultation to clarify a few more things. Paid $150.n3) Retained Mr. Spitz and paid him a $2500 partial retainer fee.n4) Immediately terminated my agreement and Robert Spitz as my legal counsel. nnThis is an honest review. First off, let me say I do not care about getting my hand shook or if the attorney is direct with me. I'm also fine with paying a consultation fee as I realize that these aren't always free. I was more focused on retaining an honest attorney with good experience that is knowledgeable in real estate law. I made a poor choice is hiring Robert Spitz's firm.nnAfter my first two consultations, Robert Spitz had me convinced that he would be able to help me resolve my real estate issue. I only retained him because I thought he would fight for me. I literally had to terminate our agreement after one day. Why? After collecting my partial retainer, his advice after "further reviewing my case" was that I should file bankruptcy. That was NEVER an option for me. Had I known that was what he would advise me, I would have never retained him.nnI then proceeded to request a refund. This is what he charged me one day into retaining him and after my check cleared:nn- Create file for new client .5 hours - $200n- Research and draft letter 2 hours - $800n- Review client documents .5 hours - $200n- Meeting with client to discuss status of case . 5 hours - $200nnIn the end, they billed me for a total of $1400. This firm misrepresented themself from the start. Don't be fooled when he boasts 30+ years of experience. I was able to solve my real estate issue without filing bankruptcy and without the help of Robert Spitz's crooked firm. His terrible legal advice and abusive fees are the reason why the people do not trust attorneys! There are good ones out there. He's just not one of them!

Do not do business with this guy! Does not want to pay for cost of labor of a fence we had installed at his property. nnMid January i started talking to my neighbor to tell the landlord (Robert Spitz) about a fence i wanted to install to get rid of the nasty chain link fence that was separating our properties. nnEnd of January we agree on $337 each to split the cost of fence and labor. The fence was completed January 27th. Few days go by renters give me a check. I open it later that night and it's only for $223.... nnThe next day i had called his office personally and secretary told me they needed the invoice for labor. Next day, my wife drops it off and secretary tells her they'll receive a check in the mail....nnIt's now April 9th and no check. I stopped by his office and asked about the check. They quickly say, oh he didn't agree on labor cost etc.... i said ok well we agreed on $337 (which is less than half of total project) and i only received a check for $223. nnUnfortunately i even did him the favor of him having the good side because i wanted to be a good neighbor. I would highly suggest not doing business with this guy. If this how he treats his own property i doubt he is putting the effort into his clients.
