I could not have been happier with the performance and the defense prepared by Stephen R. Piper, Esquire. From the minute he took my case he was dedicated to my defense, and pursued it vigorously. Having such a great attorney standing between me and the charges brought against me provided a sense of security, and removed the fear and worry from an already stressful situation. He had other cases going on, but I always felt like I was his only client. He answered my calls, and provided excellent legal council, in addition to taking calls sometimes just to put my mind at ease. When it came time to go to court, he performed brilliantly. He was polite, yet aggressive, and on a mission to win. I did not have to do much except sit there and watch him win my case. He was worth every penny and I could not be happier. I used Mr. Piper once in Mt. Laurel. He pushed for CD and I accepted. I choose him because as a veteran myself, I felt as if I could trust him. nnNow, 2 years later in a different, but similar style of case which could result in a trial, he wanted to double his fee before even reviewing the case details. He asked me to fax the case information and hasn't responded to text or phone calls for 3 weeks knowing the court date was soon approaching.
