I connected with David 12/3/2021 via the Atlanta Bar Association. I explained to him my delicate issue and he was compassionate and willing to help although he said I needed to locate the party I intended to sue myself before he could help me. David recommended a service but they did not respond to my emails or calls. I tried some other locating services and finally reconnected with David via email. I spoke with David today 2/3/2022 and he was so nasty and rude and asked how could he remember me after so long. "Do you remember where you had dinner three months ago?" A total 180 from who he was in December when he offered condolences and said that he would be able to help. He said I was rude (how and why would I be rude to the attorney who said they would help me??) and was trying to get FREE advice-- I did not ask for ANY advice and when I spoke to him in December I paid for a consultation through the bar association. He further chastised me asking how many attorneys I had spoken with intending to say he's the only one willing to help me. I was ready to pay the retainer in December after talking with him but he actually declined saying I needed to find my assailant first. Thank goodness. I wish I could give this man negative stars. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and condescending. He is not the lawyer you need when you're in need.

I was referred to David Thompson law by the Atlanta Bar Association. The Bar Association charged me $40 for a half hour consultation with a lawyer that is suitable for my case…or so they say. David called me back about a week later, and I spent 9 minutes on the phone with him. He wouldn’t really tell me anything about my case because when I started telling him about it, he told me that what I really want is a “free consultation” and he just can’t do that because he has to make good business decisions. I asked him how much he charges, and he said $275 an hour. I needed him to listen to me for maybe 5 more minutes, and I needed a simple “yes/no” answer as to whether or not I have a case…regardless of whether or not he takes it. He told me “you wouldn’t call a plumber and expect the plumber to work for free”. I told him that I would expect to the plumber to listen to the problem and tell me whether or not he can fix it. He said it’s not the same. This was a ridiculous phone call.

I was in a car accident on March 22, 2018 by a negligent truck driver who was not paying attention to the heavy stop and go traffic and ran into the back of my car causing extensive damage to my car. I have a pre-existing with my back and according to the Spine doctor I went to ordered an MRI. He advised me that the accident could have aggravated my pre-existing condition and wrote an order for for physical as well as occupational therapy to get me back to where I was before the accident. I called David at around 9 o'clock in he morning. He went ballistic and told me I could not call him at that time that it was totally inappropriate. So he told me that he was setting certain guidelines that I had to follow if he was going to take my case. I find this lawyer incompetent and unprofessional and has no compassion for a client seeking legal counsel.I don"t feel comfortable using this lawyer and would never recommend him to anyone.

David is an exceptional advocate for his clients. As a fellow attorney, I can say he has an excellent reputation for zealously advocating for his clients. I always feel comfortable entrusting him my clients for a workers compensation case.
