HORRIBLE, PREDATORY, SCAMMING Law firm, Consumer BEWARE!!!nI have used many lawyers from Florida to VA to MD dealing with my ex and visitation, custody and support issues. Jim Crawford, Zach Groves and David Lomke all assured me they would represent me to the best of their abilities and be good stewards of my money and they were not. They are the WORST attorney's I've ever worked with, they will tell you they know what they are doing, drag out your case to be sure to take all of your money and then after accomplishing nothing for you, tell you they want more money. I hired Zack in October of 2017, as of March 2018 there was still no progress on my case and I was told it was the fault of the clerks of the court, not theirs and then was charged to supposedly "fix" the problem. The last invoice I received charged me for further "inquiry" as to the status of the motion that was supposedly filed, I also received a few emails from David, assuring me that he would file additional paperwork, once this "motion"' was "ruled upon." After stating numerous times I want my money back, you're not doing what you say you are, I was talked back into working with them on assurance that my case was of the "utmost importance to them." I finally faced the facts that these guys are taking advantage of me, a single mom with kids, I got a second and third opinion. The first attorney I told this to couldn't believe how scammed I was! They showed me how to pull up my case on MD CASE SEARCH and there was my case! Filed and ready! Yet, David and the billing office was STILL charging me for a month claiming that they were "inquiring" into the status of this motion which was already filed and completed! When I said I want my money back and I'm firing you, I was instead sent invoices, told to pay more money and received harassing calls from their billing department. You can be sure you will hear from and talk to the billing office more than you ever will from whatever attorney they decide to place your case with. Which will probably not even be the same person you signed on with. I signed on with Zack, but ended up with David, who I never met or knew anything about, but trusted that for all the money I was paying they knew what they were doing. The moral of this story, don't believe anything these guys tell you and if you want to throw your money away, give it to the poor instead of these predators, you'll get much more satisfaction. In addition, my new attorney just informed me, there is very good chance, this "'motion" I was told was mandatory to be filed in my case, may have NEVER been needed and will probably let the case filed by James Crawford Law Firm die, because it's not needed! So, $3,500 for absolutely nothing. That's what hiring them gets you, attorney's that don't even understand Family Law but will tell you all day that they do! It's wrong and I hope those reading this heed the warning and learn from my mistake of hiring these predatory, scamming attorneys!

If you need a lawyer than this is the one you want! Jim explains everything and had me confident from day 1. I hired Jim's father in my younger days and I gotta say Jim has only improved upon the excellence of his father. When you step in the courtroom with Mr Crawford by your side one cannot help but to feel secure. I hope you never need a lawyer but if you do Mr. Crawford is who you want in your corner! The knowledge, ferocity, commitment and support run rampant in the whole office as well. Patty is top notch and a very important asset to the firm! 5 stars all around!!

I highly recommend Zack Groves for your divorce attorney. Zack took over my contested divorce from another lawyer, which is hard to do. My divorce was adversely affecting my health. Zack and his team met with me and assured me they would actively work with me to get the best possible solution. I left 2 binders and a stack of paper documents of information. Zack immediately started work and restarted communications with the opposing lawyer. He has always passed on information and consulted me on his plans for my case. I will update this recommendation periodically as my divorce progresses.
