My experience with John Eliasik was abysmal. My case began with an employee of my high-rise who harassed, intimidated and eventually put me in the hospital. I selected Eliasik to represent me in my personal injury case. During the goings on with this case, I never felt empathy from Eliasik. I decided to overlook this. After the employee plead guilty to the crime he committed against me the employee then had me arrested for vandalizing his car and then again for intimidation. I hired a criminal defense atty who subsequently got me acquitted of all charges. My injuries now include two false arrests. My criminal defense atty provided guidance regarding these two additional injuries to Eliasik. I don't know if Eliasik felt intimidated, infringed upon, or what, but after stating the two arrests I suffered should be added to my personal injury, and after receiving communication from my criminal defense atty, Eliasik subsequently declined to pursue the personal injury for the two false arrests. I later received a certified letter from Eliasik, one business day before a court hearing, that he was removing himself from the single personal injury case he was pursuing. I had been in frequent contact with Eliasik prior to his court action to remove himself from my case and during this time he never informed me he was pursuing this course of action, to remove himself. I have documentation to verify this. My take: it is the epitome of an unprofessional and unethical atty. The good news is I gave all the personal injury to my criminal defense atty and with the settlement he got me I bought a second home in a sunny resort area of FL. I actually feel fortunate Eliasik didn't handle my personal injury cases.
