I would like to start out by saying that Merlin Reed is the antithesis of the stereotypical lawyer. Merlin is truly one of the good guys! He is a straight shooter and always there when you need him. My case was extremely complicated and things were thrown at us that we weren't expecting, and every step of the way Merlin told me what was going to happen. Even though it has been 2 years since my divorce was final, I still keep in touch with Merlin because a bond was created between us after everything we went through. Merlin is personable, honest and honorable. There just aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to this man for fighting for me and what was right, and I am eternally grateful for him for advising me when to stop fighting. His ability to tell you the hard truth is a quality that you usually don't find in a lawyer. He could have taken me for a ride and let me run up an astronomical bill knowing that we couldn't possibly win some of the battles, but his integrity does not allow that. He is so knowledgeable in his profession that he seems to always know what the opposition is going to do and how the judge will most like see things, and he is rarely taken by surprise.
