I don't know who Jeff paid to write 5 star reviews - maybe he wrote them or had family write them but look up his cases. He either loses or does plea bargains, takes all your money and doesn't fight for you. For $15,000, he didn't write a single motion, didn't ask judge to seal anything, was constantly rude to us (family) who had to deal with him and is extremely patronizing, acting like you must not know anything. He doesn't listen, and certainly doesn't care. He sees money, pockets it and takes the easy way out. No researching cases, no Motions in 1.5 years, never asked judge to seal docs to protect the client. He lies and tells you things he'll do to get the case, then says he never said that. Warning: record all of your calls with him. He also said we get 2 for the price of 1 - his attorney wife (who also lies). She left his law firm soon after we paid him. Jeff was a prosecutor. Some prosecutors cross over and are defenders because of the injustices they've seen. But some prosecutors never stop being a prosecutor. He doesn't believe in his clients, doesn't listen, is rude to the client, not just family and straightaway goes for a rotten deal. Sure, if the feds sink their claws into you, most cases don't come out well but to have an attorney not EVEN submit motions - let alone good ones with research is incompetence. Even the judge replied to his tiny so-called "motion", implying that he redo it, which Jeff did not. No one in our family couldn stand dealing with his rudeness, lies and negligence. He was so likable on the first call to explain the case and ask about hiring. Forget it when the money gets paid. We scraped and scrimped and found excellence in another attorney. THEN things moved. Run, don't walk.

I never go out of my way to leave reviews so consider this a warning. This law firm present themselves as a husband/wife team, pictures and all but the wife left the law firm a few years ago so you will be left with just Jeff who will tell you exactly what you want to hear and the moment he gets paid he will do nothing for you. Don't expect him to listen, understand or care enough to put the work into your case. Before starting this law firm he was a procescutor and after dealing with him it is obvious that he is still in that mind-set.

If Jeff wants you as his client RUN don't walk. A thief and he does nothing for his client.

This team will personally see to it that your life is ruined. You’d be better off with a public defender.
