I am a fairly emotional person and really wanted to find a lawyer to represent me who I felt cared and had some compassion towards my situation and feelings. Dealing with a divorce isn’t easy and I knew that I didn’t want someone cold and emotionless for this process. I am so thankful I found Shamika. On top of being very knowledgeable and sound in her representation, I appreciated the kindness she offered, the advice and life stories she shared with me. It helped me during this process to remember I am not alone. I can’t recommend her enough.

I highly recommended the Law Office of Shamika Askew. She’s a strong negotiator, excellent communication skills, caring, passionate and loves what she does. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the representation I received. Shamika work tirelessly to resolved my case in a timely manner. Retaining this law firm, your getting a skilled lawyer who will FIGHT for your rights, with her AMAZING paralegal Georgette, both these ladies were VERY responsive, making a difficult situation less stressful.

There are honestly not enough stars for this review. It started with a consultation, in the consultation, Ms. Askew was not like every other money hungry attorney I had consulted with, she was honest and helpful from the start and even told me that I could possibly win the case without an attorney and helped guide me on what needed to be done, that meant the world to me because most attorneys would not say that because they want your business. After starting the case and being a little overwhelmed I hired Ms. Askew and let me just say, I thank the lord everyday that I found her because she took over my case like my child was her own. She left no stone unturned, was always available to me whenever I had questions or concerns about the case. I was kept up to date with every move that was made. She was very uplifting throughout the whole stressful process. She saved my relationship with my child and I could never thank her enough. If I could refer her to the world I would!!! I hope I never need her services again but if for some reason I do, I’ll be VERY confident!! Definitely highly recommended ! Honest, hard working, and loves what she does!
