Save yourself from the headache and expense of a “cheap” lawyer. I went through a Divorce and was simply told, “It could have been worse.” I was underrepresented to a point where I felt ignored: multiple meetings canceled, while other meetings started 45 minutes after the scheduled time. This was not a cheap lawyer either. I had to ultimately let him go because I could no longer afford the invoices. I wish I had known this earlier because I would have faired much better financially had I not hired him in the first place.
