Adam Land is worth every penny!!! He was amazingly kind and understanding during a difficult situation, yet fought for me when I needed him. I’d highly recommend him to anyone. As a client, I called to find out what I could do about a $1500 sprinkler damage that I had spent the past seven months trying to get someone to talk to me about, I was told that a non-billable phone call would be made to investigate. My husband & I filed for stepparent adoption with Adam Land, where he didn’t question neither of us about anything in regards to the children. He decided on his own terms to get the homestudy waived & just to get the documents needed to file the petition. He accepted all documents & filed the petition, not once did he care to make sure his clients knew exactly or understood what was on the petition.. he didn’t do anything but hurry up & ask for the money & to get the adoption finalized. Once the adoption was finalized, i was told by his paralegal to use the “certified copies” for school & any thing else i needed to use them for until birth certificates came. So hearing that, i used them for the school.. once finding out of some sort of temporary custody, he then reached out to the judge & placed the blame on my husband & I for “false statements” being we didn’t even talk about anything regarding “child custody” in his office not one time did he ask me about child custody .. know why? Cause he didn’t care to know, if he did.. he would’ve asked because that’s what a lawyer is suppose to do. So long story short once the judge “Ashley wright” found out about the information, she ordered for warrants to be out for our arrest because of what the lawyer told her, not sure what he said to her. But I’m sure he told her some lies & not the actual truth & the truth is that he didn’t do his job correctly & he made an mistake . Which is not ok to do being we paid the attorney for a reason & that was to do the job correctly. So now me & my husband have to spend more money on attorneys & not only that, we were taken away from our children for sometime to having to turn ourselves in.. 2 of our kids watched my husband be arrested & are traumatized of this mess that a lawyer we paid & judge for their doing & mistakes that they made. I would highly recommend going else where , this lawyer just wanted money & wanted to get it the quickest way possible .. i wont go into too much details because this is being investigated.. but please please find another attorney as we are in the process of reporting him to the GA’s bar..
