On 9/10/2024, Mr. Parlade called me in response to the questionnaire I filled out the day prior. He asked me for documentation regarding my case, which I promptly provided that same day. I even made it clear that I was happy to provide anything else that might be needed. At that time, I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before I heard back from their team after they reviewed my case and documents. However, I did not receive any communication or updates until I reached out on 10/11/2024, a full month later, to inform Mr. Parlade that the solar panel installer had merged with another company. In response, I received an email from Ms. Castano on 10/14/2024, stating that the a contract was missing. It is baffling that this wasn’t mentioned or requested at any point during the month my case was supposedly being reviewed. Nevertheless, I promptly provided the missing document that same day. On 10/15/2024, Mr. Parlade called to inform me that the firm was still exploring my opportunities for a civil suit, but that I had a direct suit and that I would be represented. This naturally gave me hope that help and justice were finally within reach. I signed the representation agreement that same day. Imagine my surprise when, on 10/17/2024, I received a short and impersonal email from Ms. Castano stating that the class action attorney could not take my case. No explanation was given as to what changed in such a short period of time, and to go from being told I would be represented to receiving a cold dismissal is both unacceptable and unprofessional.
