I contacted Mr. Tyson to help me with a QDRO for an IRA transfer during my divorce. After sending him all the information he realized that I did not need that due to the type of transaction saving me $600. Brandon Tyson was the attorney for my ex-husband and I am SO grateful for him!!! Allow me to put this into perspective: My ex began this battle with an income well into the 6 figures, a house, 2 cars and an excellent reputation. Me?! I was abusing alcohol and had a failed DCF drug & alcohol test to prove it. I had no income (SAHM for 3 years), I had just been removed from our home by the court and I was living in an extended stay hotel with my two kids. To be fair, I had sobered up for a few weeks before taking the kids out of the house but, as soon as I did, Tyson filed for an emergency custody hearing AND LOST!!! I had NO legal representation at that point so I knew the moment Judge Herr ruled in my favor that if I lawyered up, I may actually have a fighting chance at not losing my children. At one point during this whole thing we had a 70/30 custody arrangement (me having the 70%). I ultimately wanted a 50/50 agreement and because NOTHING went the way that my ex had planned since the very beginning, our second and final mediation resulted in a full settlement. One that I am very, VERY happy with! I am now working, 7 months sober and I reside in an incredibly happy home with my children. My exhusbands financial situation is now terrible. He unloaded a vehicle, has taken out multiple loans and is really struggling. I actually feel very sorry for him but, if I can build myself back up from nothing, I know that he can too. Tyson was a saving Grace for my case! I truly didn’t have a leg to stand on!
